SDFL U-15s need a few more players for season 2017
Our successful SDFL U-15 squad is seeking a few more players to build up its squad for the coming season.

As the first-ever mini season ends and Christmas is almost upon us, all our SDFL U-15D1s are already looking at planning for their first ever calendar football season in 2017.

As the new season starts a new transfer window opens and so, if you were born in 2002 and looking to play football on a great team with fantastic team spirit and togetherness, manager Mick Smith would be delighted to hear from you on 087 350 2523, without delay.

Your input could just make the difference as the lads seek to reach ever-higher levels next season, so don’t delay!

The team finished third in the once-off mini season league table in which all teams played until the Christmas break in what was a very exciting and competitive league right to the very end.

Two years ago the lads won the U-13D2 league and were promoted to Division 1 for last season, during which they were delighted to have won the U-14 Major Cup.

Last season they also went on a memorable and successful trip to Barcelona. They’re now really looking forward to seeing what 2017 season has in store for this exciting team.

Mick, Paul and Hugh would like to thank all the squad’s players and their parents and supporters for all their hard work and commitment through the competitive mini season.

We’d like to wish players Danny, Seán D, Mathieu, David, Christopher, Marcus, Kiaran, Conor S, Seán S, Eoin, Jack, Daniel, Kevin, Max, Conor O’K, Conor G and Killian and all their family members and friends a very Happy Christmas and a very Happy New Year to one and all.

We look forward to seeing you all in the New Year for the 2017 football season.
