Unvanquished Cougars Team 2 top the league
It was a cold wet Sunday morning in Swords as our Cabo Cougars Team 2 travelled out to play their Special Olympics Eastern Region blitz.

The weather didn’t seem to affect the lads, though, as they beat the hosts Estuary Celtic 9-1 on a very mucky pitch and then they got the good fortune of a walkover in their second game!

Those cold but warmly-welcomed points mean our Cabo lads have won the league with two games to play!

Well done to them and a huge congratulations to managers John Robinson and Kellie McLoughlin and all the parents who travelled out to support the lads. Of course, the players themselves are delighted with the situation given all their hard work in training and in winning all their games so far!

Yet another great feather in the cap of our Cougars squad!
