A final goodbye to Locker from his Cabo friends
It is with deep sadness that the club has learned of the death, earlier this morning, of our much loved and legendary kitman, Michael ‘Locker’ Davis, following an illness bravely fought over the last few months.

Locker spent a lifetime in football, having had spells as kitman with St. Joseph’s Boys AFC, TEK United FC, Bray Wanderers FC, Athlone Town AFC, Drogheda United FC and lately with ourselves in Cabinteely FC, where he will be greatly missed.

He was also kitman at League of Ireland representative and Irish International level.

Locker was well known for his welcoming smile, his wit and humour and, above all else, his professionalism.

We extend our sympathies to Locker’s wife, Heather, his daughters, Ciara, Shari and Amanda, his grandchildren and his many friends in the football family.

May he rest in peace. Funeral arrangements here.

Locker will indeed be missed for his great contribution.
